Lao Bankers' Association (LBA)

Established in 2001, the Lao Bankers’ Association (LBA) incorporated and operates based on voluntary memberships of commercial banks in Laos, representing the interests of the commercial and investment banking community. In 2019, the Association's members comprised of 18 commercial banks, 4 state-owned banks, 3 private banks and 8 subsidiary banks. The LBA is the organization representing membership’s voice through strategic engagement with the country's stakeholders-banks, regulators and others Government agencies. The Association collaborates with regional and international organizations in other countries to strengthen members’ interests.

Asian Bankers Association (ABA)

The ABA aims to provide a forum for advancing the cause of the banking and finance industry in the region and promoting regional economic cooperation. Its primary objectives include the following: to provide a venue for an exchange of views and information on banking opportunities in the Asia-Pacific region; to facilitate the meeting of bankers in the region in an atmosphere of fellowship and friendship; to encourage joint activities that would enhance the role of its members in servicing the financial needs of their respective economies and in promoting regional development; and to undertake projects that will encourage trade, industrial, and investment cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region.

Myanmar Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (MPE&VCA)

The Myanmar Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (MPE&VCA) is a group of institutional investors dedicated to improving the venture capital and private equity industry in Myanmar. MPE&VCA aims to provide a forum where the importance of venture capital and private equity can be discussed and shared amongst its members, and can then be used to benefit all industries in the Myanmar market. MPE&VCA promotes the role of member firms in value creation, innovation, and economic development. The association holds regular conferences, training and social networking events, and presents members with a platform to engage with businesses and government in Myanmar on topical issues.
